The Clubs and Activities area uses three different page types in Content Manager:

  • Clubs and Activities – shows the list of bookable clubs and activities.

  • Booking Checkout – acts as the booking basket/checkout.

  • Club and Activity Bookings – shows a user their current and past bookings.

You need all three pages set up so users can complete the full booking journey.

Add Clubs And Activities Pages In Content Manager

  1. Log in to the portal as an Admin user.

  2. Click Admin Control Panel.

  3. On the left menu, click Content, then click Content Manager.

  4. Next to the Sections heading where you want the pages to appear, click Add new page (purple rectangle with a white cross).

  5. In the Page Type menu, create the following pages one by one.

  6. For each page you add, configure the Section, Page Name, and Permissions as needed for your environment.

  7. Click Save Changes for each page.

1. Clubs & Activities

  • Page Type: Clubs & Activities.

  • This page displays the bookable clubs and activities to users.

  • You can create more than one Clubs & Activities page if you want to organise clubs into different areas (for example, “Sports Clubs”, “Music & Drama”, “Lunchtime Clubs”).

  • Clubs and activities can then be linked to specific pages so they only appear where you choose.

2. Booking Checkout

  • Page Type: Booking Checkout.

  • This page is the booking basket where users review and complete their bookings (and, if enabled, make payments).

3. Club & Activity Bookings

  • Page Type: Club and Activity Bookings.

  • This page shows users their current and upcoming club/activity bookings, and may also show past bookings depending on your configuration.

Once these pages are created and enabled, users will be able to:

  • Browse available clubs and activities.

  • Add bookings to their Booking Checkout.

  • View their bookings on the Club & Activity Bookings page.
