This article explains how to authorise the Microsoft Teams Assignments integration in the portal. After permissions are granted and a sync completes, the admin tool shows the imported classes and the staff and students linked to each class.
β οΈ Important: You must sign in as an admin user to complete this setup and accept the Microsoft Teams API permissions request.
Set Up Assignments Integration
Log in as an admin user, then click Admin Control Panel.
Click General, then click Microsoft Teams Assignments.
Click Authorise access to Microsoft Teams API, then click Accept in the permissions request.
Wait for the permissions to be granted and for a sync to complete.
Review the admin tool to confirm the imported classes appear along with the staff and students in each class.
πNote: The admin tool only displays the imported classes after permissions have been granted and a sync has completed.
Review the Required Permissions
The integration requires the following Microsoft Teams API permissions:
