This article explains how to control who receives notifications for Leave Request Forms.
You can send notifications to staff types, individual staff members, or different recipients for specific schools and year groups.
β οΈImportant: You must be an Admin user to update recipients in Leave Request Reasons.
Add Leave Request Form Recipients
Log in to MSP.
Go to Admin Control Panel.
Click Forms, then click Leave Request Reasons.
Select the leave request reason you want to update.
Choose the recipient type or types you want to use.
After updating the required recipient options, click Save Changes.
Use the options below to configure recipients:
Recipient option | Description |
Send to | Use the tick boxes to choose the Staff Type or types that should receive notifications. |
Linked Staff | Search for the email address of individual staff members you want to notify. |
Year Group Overrides | Create overrides for specific Schools or Year Groups so notifications go to different recipients. |
Add a Year Group Override
Use a Year Group Override when different schools or year groups need different recipients.
For example, you might want:
Prep School requests to go to one team.
Senior School requests to go to another team.
For Leave Request Reasons, many schools use the override to assign specific staff members directly to the relevant leave-related forms.
In the selected Leave Request Reason, go to Year Group Overrides.
Click Add.
In the pop-up window, select the School and Year Group or groups you want to apply the override to.
If required, search for additional staff members using their email address, then link them to the override.
Click Done.
Review the override in the list.
Use the available options to edit or delete it if needed.
Click Save Changes.
π Note: Additional email addresses must belong to users who are marked as Staff in your MIS. If they are not recorded as staff, they cannot be selected.
