The My Details page lets users view their personal information and request changes to details such as preferred name, address, and telephone numbers.
A My Details page is created in Content Manager by default under the Home section, but you can add extra My Details pages elsewhere in the portal if needed.
⚠️Important: If you want to display the My Details widget, you must create a new My Details page in a Student Dashboard section.
Add A My Details Page
Click Content then click Content Manager.
Next to the relevant Section heading, click Add new page.
In Page Type, click My Details.
In the Content section, complete the following fields:
Section – click the section you want the page to appear under.
Page Name – enter the name you want users to see.
Tags – use the predefined tags if required.
Content – add any page content if needed.
In the Additional Options section, select the details you want to display on the page, in the widget, and in the Parent Directory.
In the Permissions section:
Select Page enabled? if you want the page to appear immediately.
Clear Section visible to all users? if you want to set specific School, Year Group, or User permissions.
Click Save Changes.
Hide Student Gender
Student gender cannot currently be hidden through the portal settings.
If you do not want gender to appear on the My Details page:
Raise a case with the Support team.
Ask for student gender to be hidden from the My Details page.
📌Note: Gender still appears in the admin tools and in related functions such as clubs and activity bookings, but it will no longer be shown to portal users.
Understand The Additional Options
You can enable or disable these settings at any time. Changes are reflected in the portal immediately.
